SUBURBIA SESSIONS 1983

Shortly after punk rock band D.I. shot scenes for Penelope Spheeris`s definitive Reagan-era punk movie SUBURBIA in 1983--a time in which the band the was still relatively new--Flipside Magazine filmed the group during one of their early practice sessions at Sherpa Studio in Fullerton, California. What comes through in the footage, as well as in a self-conducted interview also featured on this release, are the band members` surprisingly fun-loving and light-hearted personalities, which are in stark contrast to the weighty issues and anarchic overtones found in their music.
